We are a family/friend-run company with my Dad, Father-in-law, Best Friend and I do most of the work, but with help from several other family members. We are located in the foothills of northern Colorado. We spend a great deal of time in the mountains skiing/snowboarding, fly-fishing, backpacking, camping, biking, hiking, and playing in the Colorado Mountains. We obviously do this so that we can make sure all the products will perform as described . . . OK, and we love getting up into the backcountry.
The mission of EpicOutfit.com is to offer a one-stop, personalized shop for the backpacker, snowboarder, skier or general outdoorsman/woman for all kinds of accessories, not commonly found at many online retailers – at a fair price. For example, we offer a huge selection of sunglasses, a wide assortment of thermal underwear, protective wear for skiers and snowboarders, personal cooking gear, water bottles, and water purification equipment. We, also, pride ourselves in not only how fast we ship but what we charge for shipping (nothing) – we do our level best to ship within 24 hours of the time we get an order. This is something that I’ve always sought in every online retailer with whom I’ve dealt and have often been disappointed, so it’s a very high priority with us at EpicOutfit.com. We are not perfect though and if we run into a problem we will do our effort best to notify you ASAP of any delay. As I am sure you do, I often get emails from large retailers promoting free shipping, we belive that getting the item to you in an efficent and rapid manner is just a part of doing business. If you were walking into my store I wouldn't charge you a fee because I had to carry the item from my wharehouse to the checkout counter. In my humble opinion shipping chages are just a way increase revenue and is extremely short sighted or the retailers. We belive that once you buy from EpicOutfit you will come back again and again. We charge absolutley NOTHING for shipping and absolutely NOTHING for handling.
A strong return policy is very important to us as well. If you don't like an item, ship it back to us. Its as simple as that. We just ask that you ship it back new and exactly the same way it was shipped to you. We think its fair to take a return at just about anytime as long as the item is "NEW IN PACKAGE" just like it was shipped to you. We also think its fair to ask you to pay for shipping back to us too. If in the rare event we ship an item that is either defective or not what you purchased we will gladly pay return freight.
Please give us feedback; it is very important to us, because we think of our customers as family, too, because you put your trust in us. We do not want to let you down. If something’s beyond our control, we’ll let you know, but we will make absolutely every effort to not let that happen.
